Soundscape Letter is a postcard aiming to transcend the barriers between time and space through sounds. When the receiver listens, one is immediately transported to steam whistles of a busy platform or raindrops over a canopy in the rainforest, allowing for the perception of a distant place. We intend to embrace the innovative essence of technology while retaining the nostalgia way of mailing. 

The postcard’s simplicity in form invites the user to be creative and allows for authentic expressions of various kinds, from children’s handprints, coffee ring marks to illustrations and writings. Though we may not be able to engage in every corner of this world, Soundscape Letter goes beyond boundaries.
Kokuyo design award 2018-2019, shortlisted.
