"Lotus Pond" was painted by Lin Yu-San at the peak of his artistic career. The lotus, also known as the water lily or hibiscus, is featured in the painting. The designer captures the transformation of the lotus from its first bud, to full bloom, to withering, symbolizing a shift that conveys the spirit of originality. Through a dialogue between the soul and nature, the painting presents the mysteries of life. The white egret adds dynamic charm to the peaceful pond. Together, the lotus and the egret symbolize harmony, beauty, and the attainment of prosperity and blessings.
