今年適逢前輩藝術家洪瑞麟110歲冥辰，展覽「掘光而行：洪瑞麟」以捐贈作品為核心，更結合館外佳作，展出350餘件精彩原作及文獻，包括展露其早慧才華的大稻埕時期作品、留日受到普羅藝術影響之作品，以及創作中少見之完整描繪礦場情景的大型油畫與礦工日記速寫等，皆將於此次展覽展出，當中多數作品已逾35年未出現於臺灣觀眾面前。

本展推出限量精緻明信片套組，精選6件經典作品，包含洪瑞麟在世時親自挑選捐贈給北美館的《自畫像》、入選第十二屆春陽會展的《朝粧》、罕見的巨幅名作《山形市集》，以及長達35年礦工題材《礦工剪影》、《礦埕等上工》與《礦工頌（坑內坑外）》。在包裝設計上使用質樸清透的紙材，精選明信片則選用象牙紙，使作品色彩鮮明、筆墨層次豐富，搭配背面裱貼的灰銅卡展現出勞動者樸實率真的精神。
