引言

那是在巴黎秋季沙龍展時，我驚覺了陳景容的畫，在相同的機緣之下，我邂逅了畫家本人，很快地我便察覺到陳景容的作品完全吻合他個人真正的本質。 
那是一幅構圖十分嚴謹，誠摯流露的作品充份反映了藝術家的個性和敏感性。

陳景容擁有一塊豐富多彩的調色盤，譬如:他某些調子灰暗的作品。似乎正引領我們進入黑夜神秘而沈靜的氣氛，然而，當我們愈仔細凝視其作品，我們便愈能體會真正能顯露他的創作價值的光彩。

因此我們可以在這灰暗的世界裏找到隱藏之地，並在其中尋回那些被我們遺忘在現實世界中的真理。

陳景容採用生活中的種種做為其創作的題材如少女、風景、工人、靜物......。
他對於真理有他個人獨特的觀點，加上他成熟的技巧，很成功地賦予其作品屬於他個人的詩意。
