GIN NONG TISTILLERY

An organic state of high freedom and inclusivity has given rise to Taiwan’s uniquely captivating culture. Building on this, we deconstruct and reframe its elements, closely integrating them with local produce and regional flavors. Using alcohol as a medium, we conduct an experiment that blends herbal botanical aromas, allowing drinkers around the world to engage with and understand the essence of “Taiwan taste,” and to experience the shimmering tides and light of Formosa.

We originate from “Shi He” in Hualien, a brand founded in 2017. With expertise in refined distillation and blending, we support local agricultural production through winemaking, embodying the ideal of “friendly farming.” Our goal is to create Taiwanese craft gin that balances flavor and quality.

With a long-standing focus on agriculture and environmental issues, we have continually reflected on the harmonious relationship between people and nature. During the Shi He phase, we collaborated with Zhongfu Distillery to develop a series of fruit-fermented wines, as well as wines that express the unique character of the Hualien–Taitung region.

In pursuit of greater creative freedom and experimental expression, we ultimately decided to establish our own micro distillery.

Delicate pomelo blossom aromas blend with subtle citrus fruit notes, complemented by a distinctive warm and mellow rice character.

On the palate, bright citrus floral notes unfold as the opening layer, followed by the lingering finish of oolong tea, gradually revealing its depth and smooth aftertaste.

The delicate sweetness of Baozhong tea serves as the main character, complemented by the calm and elegant aroma of small oil chrysanthemums.

Together, they highlight the white floral notes and refreshing tea fragrance naturally found in Baozhong tea.

The opening is bright and refined, followed by a lively and lingering tea finish.
